When the entire family was deeply entrenched in the garment business, the decision to venture into raincoat manufacturing was the very first sign of unwavering strength. Our parent company, CITY BOY (Kids Garment), has been a milestone in itself which inspired us to start VARUN RAINWEAR CO. 4 Years ago in Mumbai, Ambernath.
Undoubtedly, in this journey, we faced many obstacles but always overcame them. When the production of raincoats in this company had just begun, COVID-19 came and caused a major setback. Kerala- the state which is known for its rainfalls, was rain-free one monsoon causing another, an even greater setback. Numerous challenges were encountered, but as the saying goes, rainbows emerge only after rains, signifying triumph over difficulties.
Moreover, this company is about tobring a revolution in the field of rainwear. From designs, durability to the materials used: every aspect of our new products will wow you!

- Our business commenced operations in December 2020.
- We had initiated this business with only 4 home-made articles made of polyester-190.
- n the 1st year, 2021, we sold 12-14 products.Then, in 2022, we sold around 25 products. In the 3rd year, 2023, the number reached 80 products. We had begun kids’ rainwear production this year. Currently in the 4th year, i.e. 2024 our numbers have skyrocketed to around 150- 160 products. Our company has grown a lot, and we owe it to our sales and manufacturing team.
